Enter Account User Fields

Prerequisites

  • Define and add the account level user defined codes or fields to the project. See Add Project User Fields. For the Level dropdown, select Account.

The following steps assume you are using the Standard View Ribbon Menu option.

  1. Select Home > Earned Value in the Navigation Menu. The main EVMax window displays.
  2. Select your project from the Project dropdown in the Ribbon Menu.
  3. Expand the WBS hierarchy as needed to view the WBS elements.
  4. Select the WBS element or control account row in the top pane.
  5. Select the Account tab in the bottom pane. A list of the codes or fields displays in the bottom pane.
  6. For each Prompt row, select the applicable code from the dropdown or enter the applicable text in the Value column cell.

    Tip:

    Instead of using the bottom pane Account tab, you can also enter the data for the account level user defined fields in the top pane. Project account level user defined fields are automatically added as columns in the main EVMax window. Click in the applicable row and column cell to either select a code from a dropdown or enter the applicable text.

  7. Click Save in the Ribbon Menu or use the Ctrl + S shortcut.
